Ghost at the Garden Gate
Ghost at the Garden Gate
Is there eerie candlelight in the windows of the manor? Yes. Is there an outline of a woman looking out at me? Yes. Do I believe in ghosts? Of course not.
Cammie loves her job and her position as chair of her small town historical society. So when her manager cuts funding, she has to come up with a solution. With the help of her fellow historical society members, Cammie goes on a mission to renovate the old manor so they can hold a gala fundraiser. Everyone likes parties, right? Not really, but since begging on street corners isn’t on her top five things she’d like to do, she opts to fix up the manor.
When one problem leads to another…
Why do they all keep seeing something on the edges of their vision? And why are there footprints that lead out to the garden and then vanish? To make matters worse, Cammie stumbles onto a pile of bones in the garden. When the police investigation into the skeleton turns into a murder investigation, Cammie’s forbidden from going onto the property.
With the fate of her beloved historical society at stake, and with the help of a ghost, Cammie and the ladies hatch a plan to catch the killer in a decades old murder. But every action has a consequence and as they dig deeper into the history of the manor, they find that not all is what it seems.
If you like small town mystery, wholehearted friendship, and ghosts, you’ll love this cozy, midlife paranormal murder mystery series.
